Ciao! This is Gökhan Kutluer, your multidisciplinary photographer based in Rome.​

My relationship with photography started thanks to my mum. Not only on special occasions such as birthdays or holidays, but whenever she felt like it, she would pick up her analogue camera and take photos of me and my sister. Her smile behind the camera, that angelic expression on her face while taking our photos, was enough to fascinate me and made me interested in photography. Now I continue to take photographs with a similar facial expression, which is almost a legacy, I aim for everyone I photograph enjoy every second of the shoot and I thank my mother for every photo I take.

More than just a photographer, I'm a published author, a storyteller driven by curiosity — a lifelong learner with a passion for capturing life’s moments, from the streets I wander to the mountains I climb, the words I write, and the wines I savor. Being a flâneur at heart, I always wander through the streets with my little notebook, camera and curious eyes, observing the world unfold by talking to the strangers and learning about their connections with the places they live in. I believe that the best stories are often told in the quiet glances and unguarded smiles, the details that often go unnoticed.
